Spring has finally arrived!! The tree's are budding, we have had our first thunderstorms of the season, and the best part, the weather is warmer...aaaahhhh! Tuesday was just magnificent. The sun was shining brightly after some rainy days and the temperature was in the mid to upper 70's. Perfect. Even though I am still feeling crummy, I just knew I couldn't let a day like that pass by. We haven't been to the park very much this winter because it was almost continually cold. Unlike the last couple winters here, where just about once a week we would have a day in the 70's, so we did much more outdoors. Needless to say, we have been feeling quite cooped up. Our first stop was to the library to return some books and dvd's (and pay a late fine: 7 dvd's one day late @ $1 a day = $7...ouch) and then pick out some new ones. Then we headed over to the park.

Luke is really sensitive about the static on his head, and always touches his head after going down the slide to calm things down - I think it's more the sparks from it than the fashion issue. :P He even went through a several month phase where he didn't want to go down slides at all because of the static. :) He's still a bit hesitant about them now. I am happy to hear the weather is warmer:) so you get to go outside more often:) Last couple of weekends here were rained so we only went to play somewhere indoor. Hope we get to do more staff outdoor this weekend. DVD and Books rental late fee is $7 omg...can you renew them online? I usually renrew them online the day before when I cannot make it to the library then I just drop off in the outside box next day or something. What's Aiden's favorite book these days? Caleb loved reading Very Hungry Catapiller and Fireman small last week. This week he will be reading Possum Come a-Knockin', hopefull he will like this book this week:) Reading is great!! Reply

Each time we go, we pick out about 10 different ones. We do have the Dr Suess collection at home and those are a favorite. So glad that Caleb loves books too :) Reply

I've been checking earlier in the week, however we have been busy putting the Church back together after the floor was replaced, because of the damage from the burst boiler pipes.God is good!
